Easter Sunday was a bit different for us this year. Usually we spend the holiday with family having a low-key dinner at my in-law's home. Bill and I were on our own, so I booked us a brunch reservation at
Avenues Bistro. We sipped cocktails and dined on a decadent spread of salads, omelets, and pastries. Later we walked around the
Plaza and did some shopping. It was a departure from tradition and a much welcome one in my book. Change is good.
